Under the Green Homes Grant Scheme, homeowners and landlords in England are from the 1st October 2020 able to apply for vouchers to cover the cost of certain home improvements. This is a cash gift, it is not a loan. The voucher will pay for home improvements that will make your home more energy efficient and more comfortable to live in. The application is easy and we can do it for you as part of the service.
There are two voucher types:-
If you are a tenant you can still apply for a voucher but will need your landlords consent.

You qualify for the Green Homes Grants low-income scheme (£10,000) if you a home owner and receive at least one of the following benefits:

• Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit

These are the improvements that save the most energy and you will have to choose one or more of these first.
Once you have had your 'Primary Measures' installed you are eligible for secondary measures.

Applications will be treated on their merits and processed in the order of the date in which they were received. No contract is entered in to until a survey has been performed, works costed, agreement with the householder reached and the voucher received.

Yes, if you are the homeowner, in England, and one member of your household is in receipt of one of the Governments benefits.
66% Voucher Scheme
Yes, if you are the landlord or homeowner in England and no member of your household is receiving any benefits.
On the 7th July 2020 Rishi Sunak, Chancellor of the Exchequer, unveiled the Governments Green Home Grant Scheme, a £3,000,000,000.00 fund for home owners and landlords to pay for Energy Saving Improvements to properties in England such as loft insulation installs, ground source heat pumps, double glazing and draught exclusion. Everyone is eligible as long as:
· Your home is in England,
· You are (or have the permission of) the property owner,
· You have not received a grant already.
If a member of your household is on benefits you can apply for a voucher for 100% of the cost of the improvements, if not you get a voucher for two-thirds (66%) of the cost of the works - it's a no-brainer.
